Tell me something interesting
to take my mind away
from the world we're living in
I need a simple break
I do not speak of the sunrise
or even the sunset
The God-made things are so profound
It's that made up from men
No more news
that on the screen
or even in the papers
I need not hear of one more thing
that clings to one position
I'd like to hear from many more
one like you perhaps
A simple man just on this Earth
trying to relax
I hear of war
I head of hate
I hear of gruesome things
However do I never hear of love and peace and saints
I know that these things do exist
I see them everyday
But seldom do I hear of them
No money can't be made
Enlighten me, my dear one
an example of such things
Together we will know the truth
our minds now swept away
